Hi there, this is an example of an item for sale. As you can see, I have created it just like I would a post. The only difference is that after I filled in the description and provided a picture here, I scrolled down and filled out the shopping cart settings. This will show the price and give the customer a check out button also. If you have varying sizes, colors, etc., you would fill out the options fields, too.
